Cello Health Insight UK is pleased to have recently welcomed Claire Barker – Learning and Development Manager – to the team. Claire, who brings with her 14 years of learning and development experience from both the commercial and public sector, joins director Helen Porter and senior L&D coordinator Teresa Pearman in the London office, both of whom have valuable experience from working in customer insight and training roles in healthcare. Together they offer a comprehensive range of topics to meet our people’s development needs, translating this into the most relevant commercial training for our business.
On joining, every new starter at Cello Health Insight UK receives a tailored induction plan with support from a buddy and their line manager. They are then enrolled into ‘BUILD’, our continuous professional development programme, which combines technical training with personal skills development. BUILD is open to both research and non-research employees as appropriate, and we tap into external training for specialist skills that are beyond the skill-sets on offer within the programme. When individuals require additional ad hoc support, the L&D team also offer bespoke training or individual coaching to complement the hands-on learning individuals experience on projects.
The structure of our teams and our face-to-face approach allows us to really understand individual needs and respond to them, and the beauty of our job is to see people grow in skills and confidence through their career here.Helen Porter, Learning and Development Director
